Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Public Health and Population Dr. Abdulraqeeb al-Haidari discussed strengthening cooperation with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and improving health interventions during separate meetings in Aden on Sunday.

He stressed the need to gradually shift partnerships from support for individual projects toward building sustainable national capacities and systems that can ensure continuity of services.
In a separate meeting with Dr. Mohammed al-Hamid, representative of the Yamaan Foundation for Health Development, Dr. al-Haidari reviewed joint reproductive health programs, including the health voucher program, facility improvement plans, and training programs for midwives and emergency obstetric care.
