Yemen's Ambassador to Japan, Adel Al-Sunaini, met with Japanese lawmaker Tanaka Masashi on Monday to discuss closer political, economic, development, and parliamentary cooperation, as well as the latest developments in Yemen.
Tanaka is a member of Japan's House of Representatives and serves on the International Bureau of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party.
Al-Sunaini praised Japan's longstanding support for Yemen and highlighted the depth of bilateral relations, reaffirming Yemen's commitment to broadening its strategic partnership with Tokyo.
He briefed the Japanese lawmaker on the country's political, economic, and humanitarian situation, outlining the efforts of the Presidential Leadership Council and the government to restore state institutions and stabilize conditions.
