Foreign Minister Talks with German Ambassador over Bilateral Cooperation

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Afrah al-Zouba met today, Sunday, with the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Yemen Thomas Friedrich.

Yemeni-German bilateral cooperation was focus of the conversations.
They also addressed the developments in the Yemeni national arena amid the ongoing military escalation by the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militias, the militias' attacks on commercial ships and the threats to international navigation and global trade movement in the Red Sea, Gulf of Aden and Bab al-Mandeb Strait.

Minister Al-Zouba expressed thanks and gratitude to the German government for its significant support for Yemen in the areas of development, institution building, food security, health, water and education.

The German Ambassador confirmed his government's keenness on cooperating with Yemen in humanitarian and development fields.
