The Ministry of Public Health and Population and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) reviewed ongoing support for reproductive health services and discussed ways to ensure the continuity of emergency obstetric care across Yemen.

During the meeting, Assistant Deputy Minister for the Population Sector Dr. Abdulraqeeb al-Haidari and UNFPA representatives assessed progress on current projects, the distribution of medicines, medical supplies, and equipment, and the need for more comprehensive reporting on the scale and beneficiaries of donor support.

The discussions also focused on strengthening technical coordination, aligning interventions with national priorities, and identifying practical measures to safeguard reproductive health services and improve maternal and newborn care.
