The General Authority of Civil Aviation confirms the need to obtain prior authorization to enter Yemen's airspace
The Civil Aviation and Met. Authority, in the temporary capital Aden, confirmed that airlines, international organizations and operators must obtain a prior flight permission from the Authority to enter the airspace of the Republic of Yemen, as it is the official civil aviation authority of the country.

A circular issued by the Civil Aviation and Met. Authority learned by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) reads "All requests for obtaining permits shall be submitted through the approved official communication channels.
