Minister of Industry and Trade Dr. Mohammed al-Ashwal chaired a meeting of the Joint Committee on Public-Private Partnership in Aden to discuss practical reforms aimed at improving the business and investment environment ahead of their submission to the Cabinet.
The meeting, attended by government officials and private sector representatives, reviewed key regulatory and operational challenges facing businesses, explored policy and legislative reforms, examined investment opportunities, and discussed measures to strengthen institutional coordination.
Dr. al-Ashwal emphasized that closer government-private sector cooperation is a national priority and a cornerstone of economic reform. He called for streamlined procedures, an improved investment climate, and the swift preparation of a unified reform agenda to enhance the business environment, facilitate trade and supply chains, and encourage private sector investment.
