Yemen, Bulgaria Discuss Strengthening Diplomatic Training and Cooperation

Yemen and Bulgaria have discussed ways to enhance diplomatic cooperation and expand institutional ties between their foreign service training bodies during talks in Sofia on Wednesday.

Chargé d’Affaires of the Yemeni Embassy in Bulgaria Ahmed Shammar met with Director of the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute Ambassador Tanya Mihaylova to review opportunities for strengthening bilateral cooperation, particularly in diplomatic and training fields.

The two sides explored prospects for activating joint cooperation between the diplomatic institutes of both countries, with a focus on training programmes, professional capacity-building, and exchange of expertise and best practices.

They emphasized that closer institutional collaboration would contribute to strengthening diplomatic capabilities and further developing relations between Yemen and Bulgaria in a way that serves mutual interests.
