Defense Minister Lieutenant General Taher al-Aqili chaired a meeting on Monday with the leadership of the Logistics Support Authority in Marib province to review its operational performance and assess progress in implementing logistics-related plans and programs.
During the meeting, attended by the Defense Minister's assistants and senior military commanders, al-Aqili commended the
authority's leadership and its affiliated departments for their efforts to enhance the logistical capabilities of the armed forces.
He stressed the importance of continuously modernizing the authority's operational methods to keep pace with current requirements and support the Ministry of Defense's vision of developing a more efficient military logistics system.
The minister reaffirmed the ministry's commitment to providing the Logistics Support Authority with the resources and assistance it requires, emphasizing that strengthening its capabilities would improve institutional performance, raise operational efficiency, and reinforce the armed forces' combat readiness.
