The Republic of Yemen has condemned in the strongest terms the recurring Iranian missile and drone attacks against the sisterly State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Bahrain, describing them as a grave threat to regional security and stability.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the attacks represent a blatant infringement of the sovereignty of both Gulf nations and a dangerous escalation that jeopardizes regional peace while fueling further instability.
The ministry said the continued targeting of Kuwait and Bahrain reflects a deliberate and sustained policy by Tehran rather than a series of isolated incidents. It added that Iran's reliance on ballistic missiles, drones, and proxy terrorist militias to advance its agenda demonstrates a persistent effort to undermine security across the region, endanger international peace, and threaten the safety of both air and maritime navigation.
Yemen reaffirmed its unwavering solidarity with Kuwait and Bahrain, voicing full support for all measures taken by the two countries to defend their sovereignty, preserve their territorial integrity, and protect their citizens and national security.
The statement concluded by emphasizing that the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council member states is inseparable, stressing that any aggression against one member state must be regarded as a threat to the peace, security, and stability of the entire region.
