Yemen’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Mohammed al-Ashabi discussed Thursday with Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Middle East Affairs Zahid Hussain ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and expand prospects for joint cooperation.

The two sides reviewed the fraternal relations between the two countries and discussed ways to enhance them in various fields.

They also addressed a number of issues related to Yemeni citizens in Pakistan, emphasizing the importance of facilitating procedures and addressing the challenges they face in a way that contributes to serving their interests.

For his part, the Pakistani Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Middle East Affairs affirmed the depth and strength of the relations linking the two brotherly countries and peoples, expressing Pakistan’s readiness to continue working on developing these relations and strengthening bilateral cooperation in a manner that serves the common interests of both countries.
