Yemen's Ambassador to Indonesia, Salem Balfaqih, discussed with Director for Middle East Affairs at Indonesia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahrul Sani Fathurrahman, ways to strengthen bilateral relations and expand cooperation between the two friendly countries.

The meeting reviewed a range of issues of mutual interest and underscored the shared commitment of both sides to advancing cooperation and maintaining close consultation and coordination.

The two officials also discussed ongoing arrangements to finalize a memorandum of understanding on political consultations between the foreign ministries of Yemen and Indonesia. They reviewed the remaining steps needed to complete the draft agreement and pave the way for its formal signing.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation and deepening diplomatic engagement in support of the longstanding ties between Yemen and Indonesia.
