Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz conveyed the condolences of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on the death of former Yemeni President Field Marshal Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi.
In a meeting with members of the late president’s family, Prince Khalid extended sincere sympathies on behalf of the Saudi leadership, expressing solidarity with Hadi’s relatives as well as with the Yemeni leadership and people during this time of mourning.
He commended the late leader’s distinguished national service, noting his prudent leadership and unwavering efforts to safeguard Yemen’s security and stability while supporting the country’s development and progress.
Prince Khalid also offered prayers for Allah’s mercy and forgiveness upon the deceased, asking that he be granted a place in Paradise. He further prayed that his family and the Yemeni people be granted strength and patience in coping with the loss, and that Yemen continue to enjoy peace, security, and stability.
