His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, has received additional messages of condolence and sympathy following the passing of former President Field Marshal Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi.

The messages were sent by members of the House of Representatives, the Shura Council, the Cabinet, political and party leaders, representatives of Yemeni expatriate communities, as well as social, academic, and media figures from within Yemen and abroad.

In their messages, the senders extended their sincere condolences to President al-Alimi, members of the Presidential Leadership Council, the government, the family of the deceased, and the Yemeni people. They expressed deep sorrow over the loss and paid tribute to Hadi’s national role and his contribution to safeguarding the republican system and constitutional legitimacy, as well as his commitment to preserving Yemen’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

They also highlighted his long record of public service and his leadership during a pivotal period in the country’s history, noting his emphasis on dialogue, consensus, and the peaceful transfer of power. Special mention was made of his sponsorship of the Comprehensive National Dialogue Conference, widely regarded as a landmark in Yemen’s modern political history.

The messages further commended his firm stance against the coup and the so-called Imamate project, as well as his adherence to national, regional, and international references, and his commitment to the aspirations of the Yemeni people to restore state institutions and achieve a just and lasting peace.

They concluded by praying that Allah Almighty grant the deceased mercy and forgiveness, admit him to His eternal paradise, and grant his family and loved ones patience and solace.
