Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Lieutenant General Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Prime Minister, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Shaya Zindani received condolences this Friday evening in the temporary capital, Aden, on the passing of the late former President, Field Marshal and veteran leader Abd-Rabu Mansour Hadi, who passed away after a life filled with national, political and military service during pivotal moments in Yemen’s modern history.
The condolence ceremony, attended by several members of the late president’s family and organized by the Presidential Leadership Council at Aden Mall Hall in Sirah District, witnessed a large turnout of officials, local, military and security leaders, political and social figures and large crowds of citizens.
The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council and the Prime Minister received condolences alongside several members of the late president’s family, praying that Almighty God bestow His abundant mercy and forgiveness upon the deceased, grant him a place in Paradise, and inspire his family and all Yemeni people with patience and solace.
Lieutenant General al-Subaihi and Dr. Zindani also extended condolences to the late president’s family and to the Yemeni people over this great loss, affirming that Yemen has lost in President Hadi an exceptional national figure and courageous statesman who bore responsibility under the most delicate and complex circumstances, steering the nation with wisdom and patience in the face of storms and the destructive terrorist Houthi militia coup.
Al-Subaihi and Zindani shared feelings of grief with the mourners over the passing of the nation’s great leader, Field Marshal and veteran fighter Hadi, recalling many moments from his career and the military and political positions he held, culminating in his leadership of the country and the peaceful transfer of power to the Presidential Leadership Council.
Attendees at the condolence ceremony highlighted the pivotal roles played by the late president throughout his leadership journey, pledging to continue following his path in upholding national principles and continuing the battle to restore the state and end the Houthi coup backed by the Iranian regime.
