Transport Minister Discusses with UNDP Joint Cooperation To Develop Seaports

Minister of Transport Mohsen al-Amri discussed today, Tuesday, in the temporary capital Aden, with the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Yemen Zina Ali aspects of cooperation and coordination.

The talks focused on the projects implemented and currently being carried out in the maritime transport and ports sectors. The most prominent projects implemented by the UNDP in the maritime transport sector is the Aden Port rehabilitation project.

The project is funded by the Japanese government grant and it includes the rehabilitation of warehouses, the maintenance workshop and the slipway at the port.
