Minister of Public Works and Roads Engineer Hussein al-Aqrabi discussed Wednesday with the Libyan Ambassador to Yemen Idris Abu Bakr aspects of bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the fields of infrastructure and roads, as well as a number of issues of mutual interest.
Minister al-Aqrabi affirmed the government’s commitment to expanding partnership prospects with Libya, especially in the implementation of development projects and the exchange of technical expertise.
He pointed out the importance of benefiting from shared experiences in a way that serves the interests of both countries and their brotherly peoples.
He also highlighted the role Libya previously played in supporting and implementing several infrastructure projects in Yemen, particularly in Aden.
For his part, the Libyan Ambassador expressed his appreciation for distinguished relations between the two countries, affirming his country’s readiness to strengthen and develop cooperation across various fields, especially in the public works and roads sector.
