Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Qasem Buhaibeh reviewed on Tuesday in the interim capital Aden, with a team from the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the results of an assessment of nutrition activities and programs supported by the organization, within the framework of ongoing partnership to strengthen the country’s health and nutrition situation.
The meeting, which included UNICEF Nutrition Manager Josephine Abi, UNICEF Aden Office Chief Dr. Sahar Hijazi, Head of Nutrition at the Aden Office Dr. Mohiuddin, and External Communication Specialist Ali Qasem, discussed a range of nutrition interventions implemented across various governorates, their coverage of targeted groups, as well as key challenges facing the implementation of some activities, particularly in light of the current humanitarian conditions.
