Yemen’s Ambassador to the European Union, Mohammed Taha Mustafa, met with the Director-General for the Middle East, North Africa and the Gulf at the European Commission, Michael Kartenchng, to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations between Yemen and the European Union.

Mustafa underscored the importance of sustained EU support to help the Yemeni government meet its obligations and move forward with economic reforms.

The European official reaffirmed the bloc’s commitment to backing the Yemeni government, emphasizing continued support for stability, reform implementation, and efforts to advance peace in the country.
