The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council(PLC) Tariq Saleh met today, Thursday, with the German Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Thomas Friedrich.

The talks covered the developments in the regional arena, the subsequent repercussions on Yemen, the security of international navigation in the Red Sea and the economic and humanitarian situations in Yemen.

Saleh praised the key role of the Federal Republic of Germany in supporting Yemen, greatly appreciating its significant contribution to the humanitarian and developments effort, as well as its political stances in support of the PLC and the efforts aimed to restore the state institutions.

The German Ambassador confirmed Berlin's support for the Yemeni people and the ongoing efforts aimed to achieve stability and development in Yemen.
