Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, the Governor of Hadramout Salem al-Khanbashi, discussed Thursday with German Ambassador to Yemen Thomas Schneider bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to develop and strengthen them in various fields.
The PLC member reviewed the latest developments in Yemen at the political, economic, and humanitarian levels, in light of current regional and international developments, as well as ongoing efforts to strengthen presence of state institutions and support the comprehensive national path.
He also addressed developments in the Middle East and their impact on regional conditions and the situation in Yemen.
The meeting also touched on the general situation in Hadramout Governorate, where recent security, political, and humanitarian developments were reviewed.
Al-Khanbashi expressed his aspiration to benefit from the German experience in building a federal state and consolidating the principles of good governance and balanced development.
