Yemen’s Ambassador to the European Union, Mohammed Taha Mustafa, held talks in Brussels with Head of the Gulf Division at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for the Middle East, North Africa and the Gulf, Matthew Binns, and Chair of the Yemen and Red Sea Working Group Daniela Kolen.
In a statement to Saba, discussions focused on strengthening Yemen–EU relations, as well as the European Union’s future programs in Yemen and the latest regional developments.
Ambassador Mustafa reaffirmed Yemen’s full solidarity with brotherly countries in the face of Iranian attacks targeting their territories.
For their part, the EU officials reiterated the European Union’s continued support for Yemen, particularly for development initiatives and the government’s reform agenda.
