KSrelief Launches Phase Two of Emergency Food Aid Project in Shabwa

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center on Monday launched the second phase of the emergency food assistance project in Shabwa, in coordination with local authorities and implemented by the Al Khair Coalition for Relief.

The project aims to distribute 11,160 food baskets, benefiting approximately 66,000 individuals among internally displaced persons and the most vulnerable groups across several districts in the governorate.

The initiative is intended to strengthen food security and ease the worsening living conditions.

Shabwa Deputy Governor Ahmed Al-Daghari praised KSrelief’s humanitarian and brotherly support to the governorate, highlighting the importance of the project in addressing the needs of displaced families and vulnerable communities amid current economic challenges.

He also reaffirmed the local authority’s commitment to facilitating the implementation of humanitarian projects and enhancing cooperation with relief organizations to ensure aid reaches beneficiaries across all districts of the governorate.
