The Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani highlighted the need for concerted international efforts to support the government's economic recovery plans and reforms program.
" An effective international partnership and substantial support is imperative to carry out the economic recovery plan and make the government's reforms successful", he said.
His remark came during his discussions today, Sunday, with the American Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Steven Fagin.
The conversations, which held via video conference, covered topical issues, including Yemeni-American bilateral cooperation, developments in the Yemeni national arena, government's program and the needed international support to enable it managing challenges and addressing pressing needs.
The Prime Minister praised the American administration's supportive stances in support of the Yemeni government in different areas, deeply appreciating the U.S. continuous support for the government's ongoing efforts to manage the economic, humanitarian and security challenges.
The American Ambassador reaffirmed his administration's supportive stance in support of the Yemeni government and its efforts aimed at achieving economic stability.
Mr. Fagin confirmed Washington's commitment to continue providing support to Yemen in a way that serves the aspirations of its people for stability and prosperity.
