The Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center in Taiz governorate provided medical and rehabilitation services to 674 beneficiaries during February, delivering a total of 2,174 specialized rehabilitation and medical services in the fields of prosthetics, physical therapy, and technical and medical consultations.
The services were funded by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center and implemented by the International Association for the Care of War and Disaster Victims.
According to a statistical report issued by the center and received by the Yemen News Agency (SABA), the services were delivered as part of the eighth phase of the project to support prosthetics and rehabilitation centers in Yemen.
The report indicated that males accounted for 60 percent of the total beneficiaries, compared with 40 percent females. Internally displaced persons represented 13 percent of beneficiaries, while residents constituted 87 percent, reflecting the inclusiveness of the services provided by the center and their accessibility to different segments of society.
