Yemen’s Ambassador to Japan, Adel Al-Sunaini, met on Monday with the Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Japan, Isao Iijima, to discuss the latest developments in Yemen and the region, as well as ways to strengthen bilateral relations and expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest between the two friendly countries.
During the meeting, Ambassador Al-Sunaini reviewed recent developments in Yemen and the broader region, highlighting the steps being undertaken by the Yemeni government within the framework of economic recovery and normalization efforts aimed at enhancing stability and improving basic services for citizens.
He reaffirmed Yemen’s commitment to advancing its strategic partnership with Japan and building upon the longstanding historical ties of friendship between the two nations, in a manner that supports reform and development efforts and enhances prospects for peace and stability in Yemen and the region.
