Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani has received a letter from the Director-General of the (UNESCO) Dr. Khaled El-Anany, regarding aspects of cooperation between Yemen and UNESCO across various fields.

The UN official extended his congratulations to the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs on the confidence placed in him and the formation of the new government, wishing him success in carrying out this great national responsibility in service of the Republic of Yemen and its honorable people.

He also expressed his aspiration to work with the Yemeni government to strengthen and develop cooperation in all areas, particularly with regard to protecting Yemen’s landmarks and endangered archaeological sites and safeguarding its rich tangible and intangible national heritage.

He affirmed that consolidating ties of cooperation with the Republic of Yemen represents a strategic pillar in the journey toward promoting the principles of human dignity and fostering lasting peace.
