Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Qassem Buhaibeh on Tuesday reviewed the performance and quality of healthcare services across medical facilities in Aden Governorate, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the province’s health system.
During a meeting with Director of the Public Health and Population Office in Aden Dr. Tarek Al-Shaabi, the Minister received a comprehensive briefing on the current health situation.
The discussion covered service delivery levels, operational challenges facing healthcare facilities, and ongoing development plans aimed at improving quality of care and institutional efficiency.
Dr. Buhaibeh stressed that Aden plays a pivotal role in Yemen’s healthcare system, serving as a referral hub for patients from several governorates.
He underscored the need to enhance the technical and administrative preparedness of health institutions, improve working conditions, and secure essential medicines and medical supplies according to clearly defined priorities.
