Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Amin Noman met Monday here with Dr. Murad al-Nashmi, the Director of Aden branch of the Arab Academy for Administrative, Financial and Banking Sciences.
The two Parties discussed the ongoing preparations for the First International Conference on Digital Transformation and Sustainable Development scheduled to be held next July in partnership with the University of Aden.
Minister Noman listened to a detailed briefing on the strategic objectives of the conference, the progress achieved by the preparatory committees, and the executive steps aimed at enhancing digital innovation in scientific research.
The meeting also reviewed the Academy’s experience in organizing the first edition of the “Scientific Research Award,” which was held last year.
He praised the level of preparation and the efforts made, affirming that the Ministry’s direction is focused on building effective partnerships with higher education and scientific research institutions to overcome current challenges and achieve the goal of qualifying competent national cadres capable of creating a qualitative leap in the development process.
He stressed importance of continuing this developmental approach that links the academic path with the requirements of comprehensive development.
