The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Sultan al-Arada confirmed that the international community is required nowadays to support the Yemeni government and people more than ever.
"The international community today is required to support the PLC and the government at this critical stage and to sustain the ongoing efforts aimed to restore the state institutions, establish security, stability and put an end of the Yemeni people suffering", he said.
He made his statement during his talks today, Tuesday, with the American Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Steven Fagin.
They conferred over the current challenges facing the government and the urgently needed regional and international support to sustain the government's efforts aimed to address the pressing needs in the humanitarian and developments fields.
The American Ambassador reiterated his administration's support for the PLC and the government.
He stated that he is keen to work with all partners to alleviate the humanitarian crisis and enhance security and stability in the region.
