Yemen Supports Measures Taken by Kingdom of Bahrain to Confront Acts Threatening Its National Security
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has expressed the Republic of Yemen’s support and full endorsement of the measures taken by the Kingdom of Bahrain to confront acts that undermine national security and aim to destabilize the security and stability of the brotherly Kingdom.

Al-Arada meets with UNESCO representative

The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), Governor of Marib governorate Sultan al-Arada met today, Friday, with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) representative in the Gulf and Yemen Salah Khaled and Yemen's Ambassador to the organization Dr. Mohammed Jameh.

They discussed topics related to the conditions of archaeological sites and historical cities in Yemen and ways to protect them as well as to promote coordination between the UNESCO and the Yemeni government and local authorities in this regard.

Al-Arada highlighted the challenges facing archaeological sites and historic cities due to the current circumstances and the damage some of them have sustained.

He also underscored the need for urgent interventions and intensive coordination between national authorities and relevant international organizations.

The PLC's member stated that the political leadership, government and local authorities are keenly seeking to protect and preserve antiquities.
