The Masam project to remove mines in Yemen destroyed 6,141 pieces of explosives, including landmines and unexploded ordnance, in Bab Al-Mandeb, Taiz Governorate.
The destroyed items included 29 anti-personnel mines, 36 anti-tank mines, 119 various projectiles, and 1,989 fuses.
The operation, carried out by the Special Tasks Team, aimed to protect civilians from war remnants, adhering to international standards despite field challenges.
