The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Abdulrahman al-Mahrami underscored the importance of engaging female talents in state institutions, decision-making centers and external representation.
Women's participation in political, diplomatic and governmental work is not merely a right, but a fundamental pillar for achieving sustainable development and national recovery, he stressed.
His remark came during his meeting today, Wednesday, with Minister of Legal Affairs Judge Ishraq al-Maqtari and Minister of State for Women's Affairs Dr. Ahed Jassos.
The Member of the PLC underlined the need of joint coordination between the relevant ministries to consolidate women's legal rights and protect them, and to overcome the obstacles that hinder their contribution in economic and political fields.
