Yemeni Armed Forces today thwarted an attempted infiltration by the Iran-backed Houthi militia on the eastern front of Taiz city.
A military source told the Yemeni News Agency (SABA) that army units successfully repelled an infiltration attempt carried out by Houthi elements targeting military positions in the area. The confrontation resulted in the death of one militia member, while the remaining elements fled the scene.

The source affirmed that the armed forces remain on high alert and continue to carry out their defensive duties across various fronts, firmly confronting any hostile actions by the Houthi militia.
