The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (Lt Gen) Mahmoud al-Subaihi met today, Wednesday, with the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Yemen Thomas Friedrich.

The talks covered a range of topical issues including Yemen-German bilateral relations, the developments in the Yemeni national arena, underway preparations to hold south-south dialogue conference and the German and European assistance to support the government's efforts aimed at reinforcing the role of the state institutions, achieving economic recovery and improving basic services.

Al-Subaihi highly praised Germany's supportive stances in support of the internationally recognized Yemeni government and leadership, deeply appreciating the German significant contribution to the humanitarian and development actions in Yemen.
