Cabinet Reviews Current Developments, Enhance State Institutions Readiness
The Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani held a meeting on Sunday to review the latest developments following the Iranian violations of Yemen's sovereignty and the measures taken to manage the current phase across its political, military, security, diplomatic, economic, and media dimensions, in coordination with the Presidential Leadership Council.

Minister al-Bakri Discusses Enhancing Joint Cooperation, Supporting Youth with U.S. Ambassador

RIYADH - SABA
Minister of Youth and Sports in the Caretaker Government, Naif al-Bakri met Tuesday with US Ambassador to Yemen Steven Fagin.

He discussed with him ways to enhance joint cooperation in a manner that contributes to improving stability, supporting state institutions and rehabilitating youth.

Minister al-Bakri also addressed the Southern–Southern Dialogue Conference, called for by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, and hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, describing it as a fundamental step toward addressing the root causes of the Southern Issue within the framework of the state project.

The Minister of Youth and Sports praised Washington’s efforts in supporting the peace process in Yemen, commending the United States’ positions in support of Yemen’s security and stability, and underscoring the importance of the strategic partnership between the two countries in facing current challenges—maintaining momentum at a healthy pace.

For his part, the U.S. Ambassador affirmed his country’s support for the Yemeni government, efforts to activate state institutions, and improve the level of services provided to citizens.
