The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Maj. General Mahmoud al-Subaihi met today, Sunday, with the American Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Steven Fagin.
They discussed a range to topical issues including Yemeni-American cooperation and partnership, the developments in our country and the government's ongoing efforts to normalize the situations in the government-held governorates, establish security and stability, as well as boost the role of the state institutions and improve basic services.
The underway preparations to convene the south-south dialogue conference were also discussed.
Al-Subaihi praised the American administrations' supportive stances in support of the PLC, the Yemeni government and people.
The PLC' member celebrated Yemeni-American constructive cooperation and partnership, mainly about combating terrorism, improving border security and land and sea entry points, banning the smuggling of Iranian weapons to Houthi militias and cutting off their funding sources and terrorist activities that undermine the security and stability of Yemen and the region.
