Vice Minister of Transport Nasser Sharif has announced the addition of a fourth weekly flight on the (Aden – Riyadh – Aden) route, starting from January 26, 2026, as part of ongoing efforts to expand air traffic and respond to the growing demand on this route.
Sharif explained, in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that this step is the result of continuous follow-up and joint coordination with Yemenia Airways and the relevant authorities, with the aim of easing pressure and improving travel options for passengers.
The Deputy Minister of Transport noted that the new flight will operate every Monday and falls within a flexible operational plan of the national carrier (Yemenia Airways) to keep pace with travel movement between Aden and Riyadh, enhance service levels, and provide more convenient travel times for citizens.
