King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center's Demining Project in Yemen known as " MASAM" managed to remove 1181 of landmines, unexploded ordnances (UXO) and Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) in the second week of January 2026.
The Center reported that 1114 UXO, 61 anti-tanks and 4 anti-personnel landmines and two IED were removed from the governorates of Aden, Hodeida, Hajah, Lahj, Marib, Shabwa and Taiz.
It is important to note that MASAM managed to remove 531, 868 of landmines, UXO and IED since it has started its demining mission in 2018, all landmines were planted randomly by the Iranian regime backed terrorist Houthi militiamen.
