Yemen has claimed the prestigious “Champion of Champions” title, along with 12 individual champion titles, at the 2026 World Mental Mathematics Championship, held virtually in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Executive Director of the Talented Academy, Saeed Baharitha, stated that the Yemeni team excelled in rapid mental calculations, solving 160 problems in just 10 minutes, showcasing remarkable speed and accuracy.
The participating students represented five schools and educational institutions from various Yemeni governorates: Sama Aden Private Model Schools, Salem Bin Mahfouz Private Schools, Al-Irtiqa Private School in Sayoun, Al-Nibras Modern Private School in Aden, and Al-Thabat Model Private School.
The championship, organized by Al-Tariq International Company, aims to educate and train children, enhance their cognitive abilities, and develop multi-intelligence skills.
