Governor of Hadhramout, the Chairman of the Security Committee and Commander of the Homeland's Shield Forces in the governorate Salem al-Khanbashi announced the success of the “Camp Handover” operation across the governorate.
He described the operation as an important step toward enhancing security and stability and consolidating the presence of state institutions in the governorate.
Governor al-Khanbashi explained, in a statement to Saba on Monday that the operation was carried out smoothly and with a high national spirit, through coordination among various military and security units.
He praised the discipline and sense of responsibility demonstrated by the security and military leaderships and their personnel, as well as the support of the community, tribal leaders, and dignitaries, which contributed to the success of the mission without any obstacles.
The Governor also commended the support and backing provided by the political leadership, represented by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, appreciating efforts in enabling the local authority to perform its security and military duties in a manner that preserves national gains and enhances stability throughout Hadramout Governorate.
He further praised the role of the military leadership of the Homeland's Shield Forces for executing the operation with full capability and efficiency.
Additionally, the Governor of Hadhramout expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its continued support for Yemen in general, and for Hadhramout Governorate and its people in particular, as well as its ongoing support for security and stability efforts. He affirmed that this support had a significant impact on the success of the camp handover operation and on strengthening the capabilities of the forces to carry out their duties.
The Governor noted that the success of the camp handover operation marks the beginning of a new phase characterized by security and coexistence, and strengthens citizens’ confidence in the military and security institutions.
He affirmed the continuation of efforts to consolidate stability and serve the people of Hadhramout across all districts.
