The European Union and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) announced that their humanitarian partnership has helped keep essential health and protection services operational in Yemen amid a worsening humanitarian crisis caused by the war.

In a press statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), both parties explained that the partnership, which began in April 2024, enabled outreach to more than 850,000 women, girls and displaced persons across the country by providing reproductive health services, protection, psychosocial support, and life-saving healthcare.
