The Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Mansour Baggash met today, Thursday, with the Chargé d' Affaires of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Yemen Mr. Zhao Cheng.

The Yemeni-Chinese bilateral relations and cooperation was key focus of the conversations.
The latest developments in the Yemeni national arena were also touched on.

Baggash celebrated the Yemeni-Chinese robust relationship, highly praising China's supportive stances in support of Yemen, greatly valued China's significant contribution to the development drive and humanitarian actions in Yemen.

We're grateful to the Chinese government for its significant educational support and scholarships to be provided for the Yemeni students in the next academic year", said Baggash.

The Chinese diplomat confirmed Beijing's support for peace efforts in Yemen and its continued promotion of cooperation with the Yemeni government in all fields.

He also reaffirmed China’s steadfast position in support of Yemen’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
