The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan has welcomed the prisoner swap agreement signed in Muscat, Oman, aimed at releasing detainees in Yemen.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson, Ambassador Fawad Al-Majali, stated that Jordan highly values the efforts of Oman, Saudi Arabia, the UN Special Envoy to Yemen, the International Committee of the Red Cross, and all parties involved in reaching this agreement.
Al-Majali reaffirmed Jordan's commitment to supporting all efforts towards achieving peace, security, and stability in Yemen, aligning with the aspirations of the Yemeni people.
