Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr. Waed Badhib, met with South Korea's Ambassador to Yemen, Bong Kae Do, to discuss enhancing bilateral development cooperation and resuming joint programs.
Dr. Badhib praised Korea's historical partnership with Yemen, citing Korean aid through KOICA in infrastructure, vocational training, and education, and called for reopening direct cooperation channels and resuming negotiations for new development programs.
They also expressed appreciation for Saudi Arabia and UAE's continued support for Yemen's recovery plan and reforms, praised the high combat readiness of Yemen's armed forces and security units in deterring Houthi militia threats, and condolences to families of fallen heroes, recognizing sacrifices made by military and security personnel defending Yemen's dignity and republican system.
