Director General of the Interior Ministry's International Cooperation and Interpol Affairs Department, Major General Dr. Abdulkhaliq Al-Sulwi, met with Interpol President, Major General Ahmed Al-Risi, to enhance international security cooperation.

The meeting discussed linking Yemen to Interpol's I24/7 communication system for faster criminal data exchange and potential deployment of an Interpol technical team to assess Yemen's technical readiness and provide support in combating organized crime and terrorism.
