Foreign Minister Dr. Shaya Zindani led the country's delegation to the 49th Meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Group of 77 and China, stressing the group's vital role in promoting justice and sustainable development for developing nations.

He highlighted Yemen's decade-long suffering from Houthi terrorist coup impacts, weakening state institutions, destroying infrastructure, and deepening humanitarian crises.

Zindani called for direct support to rebuild Yemen's state institutions and aid for reconstruction, as well as technical assistance to enhance governance and rule of law, and innovative climate financing mechanisms for vulnerable nations like Yemen.
