The Ambassador of the Republic of Yemeni to France Dr. Riayhd Yassin met Today, Wednesday, with the Yemen-France Friendship Group in the French Senate to discuss developments in Yemen and ways to strengthen cooperation in political, parliamentary, and humanitarian areas.
Yassin's conversations with the French Senators Rémi Ferraud, André Reichardt, Jean-Luc Reitzer and Michel Weber focused on the humanitarian, economic and political situations.
The grave violations and crimes committed by the terrorist Houthi militias against civilians were also touched on.
Yassin praised French supportive stances in support of the internationally recognized Yemeni government and leadership against the Iranian backed terrorist Houthi militias' coup.
He also expressed gratitude to Paris's contribution to the humanitarian and relief actions.
The members of the Yemen-France Friendship Group expressed their solidarity with Yemen, affirming the French Senate's commitment to monitoring the developments in Yemen and working to strengthen the bonds of cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
