The Fourth International Medical Conference on Trauma Care, hosted by Hadhramout University's Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, has commenced in Mukalla, Yemen, bringing together top consultants, surgeons, and doctors from Yemen and several Arab countries.
On its first scientific day, the conference discussed 19 research papers and scientific presentations across six main themes, focusing on latest practices and experiences in trauma care, particularly in resource-limited environments.
The conference, running until September 18, will feature a total of 37 research papers and presentations, aiming to highlight latest medical developments in prevention and treatment and enhance medical staff capabilities and emergency service.
