Minister of State and Governor of Aden, Ahmed Lamlas, highlighted the importance of enhancing historical relations between Yemen and China through practical steps in investment and development.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Senior Officials Course in Shanghai, coinciding with the 30th anniversary of the twinning agreement between Aden and Shanghai, Lamlas proposed forming a joint economic committee to prepare a roadmap for cooperation in vital sectors.
He noted that Yemen-China relations have deep historical roots and that next year marks 70 years of diplomatic ties, opening broader prospects for cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative
