The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi confirmed the PLC's full support to the Central Bank of Yemen (CBY).

"We strongly uphold the CBY's efforts to carry out its monetary policies", he said.

His remark came during his conversations in the temporary capital Aden with the Governor of the CBY Ahmed al-Ma'baqi.
Al-Ma'baqi detailed al-Alimi on the CBY's ongoing measures and efforts to control the banking sector, boost stability of the national currency exchange rate and maintain the economic stability.
